The Jewellery
Gold
Gold is an element with the symbol "Au" which comes from the latin word Aurum.
Pure Gold can be worked into almost any shape, including tiny strands that do not break easily. Gold metal is dense, soft and shiny. Because of the softness of pure (24k) gold, it is usually alloyed with base metals for use in jewelry, altering its hardness and ductility, melting point, color and other properties, typically 22k, 18k, 14k or 10k, contain higher percentages of copper, or other base metals or silver or palladium in the alloy.
Pure gold has a bright yellow color and luster traditionally considered attractive, which it maintains without oxidizing in air or water. Gold has served as a symbol of wealth and value throughout history
Gold jewelry are always in style, and for good reason, because gold is as wearer-friendly as it is beautiful.
Chances are the ring on your finger is marked 18K, 14K, or 10K, with the K standing for karat, the system used to describe the percentage of pure gold your jewelery contains. The higher the karat number, the higher the percentage of gold in your gold jewelry.
Gold jewelry is marked with numbers that indicate their percentage of gold, such as:
·18K gold is marked 750 to indicate 75% gold
·14K gold is marked 585 for 58.5%
·10K gold is marked 417 for 41.7%

Conflict diamonds, also known as blood diamonds, are illegally traded to fund conflict in war-torn areas, particularly in central and western Africa.
diamonds that are mined in areas of political conflict and civil war, and are diamonds The United Nations (UN) defines conflict diamonds as "...diamonds that originate from areas controlled by forces or factions opposed to legitimate and internationally recognized governments, and are used to fund military action in opposition to those governments, or in contravention of the decisions of the Security Council."
The extreme brutal conflict in Sierra Leone in the 1990s sparked a collective global awareness regarding the illegitimate practices in the diamond trade
Numerous efforts are being consistently enforced as part of a universal effort to eradicate conflict diamonds.
What is the Kimberly Process?
In 2003 the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme (KPCS) was established and internationally adopted in order to monitor international diamond trade and to eventually eradicate conflict diamonds. Over 70 countries world-wide signed the Kimberley treaty and have agreed to only buy and sell from other participants. These participatory governments pledged to follow strict guidelines in the import and export of diamonds, certifying that they are legitimate, and subject to invoice review and mine review by an international committee.
Clarity Enhance Diamonds
Diamond Enhancements preformed on natural diamonds, and designed to improve the
polished diamond clarity.
During the C.E treatment a microscopic amount of material insert into the diamond. The material has the same refraction as the diamond, and lets the light passes through the inclusion which make the imperfections invisible.
This process optically eliminates inclusions, which are naturally occurring in most diamonds. At the end of the process is a sparkling diamond that cost significantly less then a similar looking non enhanced diamond.
Normal wear and tear cannot harm the enhancement treat
The enhancement may be reversed while exposed to strong acids or extreme heat
